The women\u2019s cross country team has enjoyed tremendous success the last few years, winning the national championship in 2021, 2022 and again in 2023. The team is also on a streak of eight consecutive ACC championships. The team\u2019s recent championships got us thinking about other winning streaks by NC State teams through the years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
8<\/strong> consecutive ACC championships, marked in recent seasons by strong performances from All Americans Katelyn Tuohy and Kelsey Chmiel \u201921.<\/p>\n\n\n\n (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022<\/em><\/strong>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n 5<\/strong> ACC championships (2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023<\/strong><\/em>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n The men\u2019s basketball team\u00a0brought home an ACC championship trophy in March. The beginning of a streak? Who knows\u2009\u2014\u2009but the team won the first 3<\/strong> ACC tournaments in 1954<\/em><\/strong>, 1955<\/em><\/strong> and 1956<\/strong><\/em>. They were led by legendary coach Everett Case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n With a conference championship in 2023<\/em><\/strong> the Wolfpack swimmers have won eight of the last nine titles and 32<\/strong> ACC championships in the team\u2019s history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The team won an impressive 12<\/strong> consecutive conference championships from 1971\u20131982.<\/p>\n\n\n\n (1954, 1955, 1956, 1961, 1963, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982<\/em><\/strong>, 1984, 1985, 1992, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023)<\/p>\n","protected":false,"raw":"\n\n\n\n\n The women\u2019s cross country team has enjoyed tremendous success the last few years, winning the national championship in 2021, 2022 and again in 2023.
